“When fear becomes collective, when anger becomes collective, it’s extremely dangerous. It is overwhelming… The mass media and the military-industrial complex create a prison for us, so we continue to think, see, and act in the same way… We need the courage to express ourselves even when the majority is going in the opposite direction… because a change of direction can happen only when there is a collective awakening… Therefore, it is very important to say, ‘I am here!’ to those who share the same kind of insight.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
Don’t believe the hype. The financial markets do not reflect economic reality. Heavy equipment maker, Caterpillar, has experienced 39 consecutive months of negative sales growth. The US continues to produce minimum wage jobs. Economic activity in China is bleak. Every economic metric I monitor is pointing to a serious calamity in the making.
Contacts I have who work and analyze the manufacturing sector have bluntly stated that business is drying up. A client of mine mentioned; “It’s as if a tap has been turned off”.
The equity and bond markets are driven by central banks. Investors are no longer the determining factor of price discovery. Central banks are now the predominant purchaser of stocks and bonds. A number of weeks ago I highlighted that the ECB is now buying corporate bonds. Will central banks soon start buying toilet paper, toothpaste and other consumer products just to keep the facade alive that we have a functioning economy?
Suits, Costumes and the Mask of Uniformity
Jeff Fitchett: Zen Gardner provides great commentary on a subject that is dear to me.
“What’s been pre-programmed into the human psyche seeks affirmation. That’s the nature of the game we’ve been dropped into. Waking up to that reality takes some guts and determination but it’s happening on a massive scale despite the truth blockade and deliberate media and geopolitical insanity.”
“It’s hard to believe humanity falls for this uniform code stuff. Whether it’s dress codes, bar codes, speech codes or computer codes, it’s designed to dehumanize and forcefully structure our natural being into something mechanistic and clearly unnatural.”
“Just the word uniform is a dead giveaway: “Not changing in form or character; remaining the same in all cases and at all times.” Suits is another. What “suits” you, playing cards come in “suits”, “suit” yourself, you’re well “suited” for the job, etc. There’s a world to explore there.”

Why I’m for Bernie Sanders - by Oliver Stone
Jeff Fitchett: I understand where Oliver Stone is coming from. I wish I had some optimism as it pertains to the direction and policies of the United States of America. The phrase; “the land of the free, home of the brave” is meaningless today. Even if Bernie Sanders was to be elected he would be neutralized by the majority of politicians running congress and the senate. That said, Mr Stone’s assessment is worth listening to.
I’ve been in deep despair these last few months about our political landscape. This quote from Thich Nhat Hanh recently elevated my spirit, and I share it with you. Because I am — we are — still here! Though it’s clear that the die is cast and that Clinton will win — that is, if you believe in numbers and materialism, but I don’t, not completely.
I enclose here (below) several recent articles, which you need to read to understand how difficult a situation we’ll be in if we continue with a harder-line version of Obama. Hillary Clinton has effectively closed the door on peace, blasting both the Palestinian peace process and the Russians in the same week. NATO is her god, the best thing the “exceptional” US has to export in this new “American Century.”

For Canada's Banks This Is "The Next Shoe To Drop", And Why It Will Drop This Spring - by Zero Hedge
Jeff Fitchett: Canadians, like most other people in the world today, should be concerned with their banking system. Our economy is based on a bubble of debt that is in the process of popping.
Roughly around the time the market troughed in early February, we asked "After The European Bank Bloodbath, Is Canada Next?" The reason for this question was simple: we said that "when compared to US banks' (artificially low) reserves for oil and gas exposure, Canadian banks are...not."
Stated otherwise, we warned that the biggest threat facing Canada's banking sector is how woefully under reserved it is to future oil and gas loan losses.
We added that unlike their US peers, "Canadian banks like to wait for impairment events to book PCLs rather than build reserves, in effect throwing the entire process of reserving for future losses out of the window.” Continue reading the article

Awakened... now what? - by Jeff Fitchett
What does one do when a person realizes that nothing is as it seems?
Logically speaking, the immediate response is that a grieving process begins. It is a lot to comprehend learning that our society is shaped and controlled by nefarious means. I found myself questioning my own observations. Am I correct? Why do other people not see what I'm seeing? How can this be?
Zen Gardner wrote in his article, Suits, Costumes and the Mask of Uniformity; "What’s been pre-programmed into the human psyche seeks affirmation." "That’s the nature of the game we’ve been dropped into." "Waking up to that reality takes some guts and determination but it’s happening on a massive scale despite the truth blockade and deliberate media and geopolitical insanity." It is true that a person who is not awake will require a constant flow of conditioning in order to maintain their state of slumber. Reality is much different looking when compared to the facade that the media and establishment depict.
One of the best examples of the facade is the belief that the United States of America is the beacon for freedom and democracy. From an outsiders perspective it is clear as day that the constitution is dead. It no longer exists. The masses within the US do not realize this fact. Dr Paul Craig Roberts wrote a must read article titled; Does The United States Still Exist? If you are of the mindset that the US constitution is still intact please stop reading this article and read Dr Roberts' article before continuing on. A constant barrage of buzz words, phrases and entitlement benefits are required to keep the fallacy alive and the majority of the population docile and under control. A small minority of awakened people know that the US is a tyranny.
